Bergen

Today is 6.30 am Sunday.  On Friday we got an Uber to the airport,  with plenty of time to spare and were pleased with the decision because we went straight through security , check-in, customs and whatever else and found the lounge we had previously paid to enter. We had to use a side entrance because there was a group of protesters outside. They were quite loud and intrusive and we wondered why they were not moved on. Just a minor niggle. We flew to Bergen and caught a taxi to the boat.  It was mid afternoon and , after an obligatory safety briefing, we set off with a map to explore most of the decks. Dinner was delicious.

We slept well.

Yesterday we went on a bus tour of Bergen and learnt lots of bits and pieces about Norway in general and this area.  The ship left Bergen at 6pm and went up a fjord or 2 overnight.  The view above is what we woke up to.

I may be a bit brief in following posts. I want to enjoy sitting .
