Aalborg

We woke yesterday morning as the ship was going up a river and listened to the changing engine as the ship was  manoeuvred into its berth  at Aalberg, northern Denmark. I went for a short walk and had a cappuccino in a coffee shop. I had not looked at the exchange rate first. The coffee cost me AUD 10.58. No seniors discount.

We went for a guided walk around Aalborg. We learnt a bit about Danish life and the odd assortment of buildings we saw. We were a bit underwhelmed and left the tour early. 16 days of new sites is beginning to take a toll.  We did little for the rest of the day.

There is a concert every night on the ship  at 9pm which we can watch on the live TV channel in our room.
Last night was an excellent flautist. After that we slept for 10 hours and woke up in Copenhagen. We were the last to leave breakfast.
