On Sunday I did very little, other than go out for food and a little wander around the streets where I was staying. I was disappointed that it was Sunday afternoon and All Saints Day ( special in lots of Europe) so a lot of the shops were closed. There was a block of shops I would have loved to browse in - a wool shop, a children's book shop, a wine shop that sold only non alcoholic wines,  2 almost  affordable  dress shops, several interesting looking cafes. Maybe next time? ( I am switching back to French lessons, so who knows)

The flights home were unremarkable  - long. The worst bit was the 3.5 hour wait at Melbourne airport from 6 to 9.30 pm at night.  I am very aware that I am very fortunate to still be able to travel in the manner and to the places I want to go to.
