This is my new toy. A family member has commented that he doesnot know what inches are. My response to that is "Isn't it good that, even though I am ancient enough to know about inches , I can also learn about small notebooks".

Indeed.
Apparently if you multiply by 25.4, you get the length in a real units measurement system :)

What about those of us who can remember Rod, Pole and Perch? Not to mention Hands, Cubits and Spans !!! Or even Chains (for the engineering types).
