Arrived Berlin

Yesterday I arrived at the apartment C and family are staying in in time for lunch after a bus trip to Sydney, night in hotel, plane to Singapore, plane to munich, plane to berlin, messing around at the airport buying a local transport ticket with all the machines in German ( I needed help), then train to ostkersomething , then train  to Pankow, then walk.

In the afternoon we went with C to  pick up her race bib by tram, foot, underground ( absolutely packed)  walk at templhof, the old airfield. There were thousands of people, C went one way , we went another to look at 3 old airoplanes , lots of stalls, people taking photos in front of various signs.
